Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 11 August 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of services from TISS Corporation ("TISS", "we", "us"). They apply to every service bought through our website, including our online payment solutions and our domain, email and related services. By paying for a service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Where a written scope, proposal or service listing describes a specific service, that description sets out what is included for that service. These Terms govern everything else.

2. Our Services

We provide two groups of service:

  • Online payment solutions. A dedicated, rebranded payment platform on your own domain, and the ongoing management of the offers listed on it. These are described in sections 5 and 6.
  • Domain, email and related services. Domain registration and management, business email setup and support, and the other services listed on our plans page. These are described in section 7.

We are a service provider, not a payment provider. We never take custody of your money and we take no share of your transaction values. See section 9.

3. Prices, VAT and Payment

All prices are in South African Rand and are the prices published on the relevant service listing at the time of purchase.

  • VAT. No VAT is charged on our prices and no VAT is claimable on them. If our registration status changes we will state the new treatment on our listings before it applies.
  • Payment in advance. Once-off and annual services are payable in full before work begins. We do not split fees into deposits and balances.
  • One amount per payment. Each payment is a single amount taken in full at the time of purchase. We do not currently offer deposits, instalments or staged payments on our own services.
  • No checkout fee. We add no fee of our own at checkout.

Your payment reference is shown on screen when you pay and is quoted in the receipt emailed to you. Please use it in any query about a payment.

4. Payment Methods and Provider Fees

Payments to TISS are processed by our payment provider. You can pay by card, Instant EFT, SnapScan, or Apple/Google Pay. Your card details are not shared with us.

Where you accept payments through a platform we build for you, the transaction fees, settlement periods and terms of your payment provider are a matter between you and that provider. Those fees are payable by you, and we take no margin on them. An Instant EFT taken through a payment provider carries a transaction fee where a manual EFT into a bank account does not; that fee buys immediate confirmation and a reconciled payment reference.

5. Professional Payments (Annual)

Price. R4,850 per year, payable annually in advance. No VAT is charged and none is claimable. There is no later balance and no checkout fee.

5.1 What you receive

  • A cloned and rebranded instance of the TISS platform.
  • Domain registration and hosting setup.
  • One primary service packaged and listed, ready for payments.
  • A merchant dashboard from which you can manage future offers yourself.
  • Connection to your approved, supported payment provider account.
  • A tested end-to-end journey from your URL through to a receipt.

5.2 What you must provide

These are prerequisites. They are not things we can supply on your behalf, and the service cannot be delivered without them:

  • An approved payment provider account in your own name. Applying for a provider account, and the provider's approval and FICA checks, are excluded from this service. Provider approval routinely takes days or weeks and is outside our control.
  • An existing way of reaching your customers. This service builds the platform you sell through. It does not create demand for what you sell.
  • Your service details, your business identity information, and confirmation that the offer as written can actually be fulfilled by you.

5.3 Turnaround

Your platform is delivered within 72 hours of your payment clearing: up to 48 hours for the payment to settle, then up to 24 hours for domain registration, cloning, configuration, deployment and listing your first service. The 72 hours runs from payment clearing, not from the moment you click Pay.

Delivery also requires your launch details. The fulfilment clock starts when we receive them: on the receipt screen immediately after payment for most customers, or on return of the information checklist we send you if you do not complete that screen.

Your platform cannot go live until your payment provider has approved your account. Where you are still waiting on that approval, the wait is not part of our 72 hours and is not a failure to deliver on our part. We will keep you updated on the schedule you were given, including when there is no change to report.

5.4 What is excluded

  • Payment provider account application and approval.
  • Marketing, advertising, lead generation and customer demand.
  • Additional services beyond the first one listed.
  • Content for an existing website of yours.
  • Ongoing changes after launch, which are covered by the Managed Payment Solution.
  • Tax, accounting and legal advice.

5.5 If we cannot deliver

  • If your platform is not delivered within 72 hours of your payment clearing, you receive a full refund. This covers our delivery commitment. It does not cover a wait on your payment provider's approval, which sits outside our control.
  • If scoping shows that your offer cannot be made payment-ready as scoped, you choose: a corrected scope, or a full refund. You do not have to negotiate for it.

6. Managed Payment Solution (Monthly)

Price. R1,950 per month. No VAT is charged and none is claimable. No checkout fee. Transaction fees remain payable to your payment provider under their terms.

6.1 What you receive each month

  • Everything included in Professional Payments.
  • Maintenance of up to five live service listings and payment pages.
  • Creation or retirement of offers within that allocation.
  • Price, availability and seasonal-window updates.
  • Upkeep of your supported provider integration.
  • A monthly payment and offer-performance summary.
  • A monitored support route for offer and payment-link issues.

6.2 What you must provide

Timely offer information, fulfilment confirmation for every published offer, and a supported payment provider account in good standing.

6.3 Turnaround, renewal and cancellation

Routine listing changes are made within 2 business days of request. The service renews automatically each month. You may cancel with one calendar month's written notice. The current price is confirmed at each renewal.

6.4 What is excluded

  • Marketing and demand generation.
  • Payment provider fees and settlement.
  • Fulfilment of the services you sell.
  • Work beyond your listing allocation, which is quoted separately.
  • Tax, accounting and legal advice.

6.5 If we cannot deliver

Where the service level above is not met in a given month, you receive service credits or a pro-rata refund for that month.

7. Domain, Email and Related Services

Our domain, email and related services are supplied on the scope and price shown on the relevant listing or written quote. Setup times, included support and any recurring fees are as stated there.

Domain registrations and third-party mailbox licences are supplied subject to the terms of the registry or vendor concerned, and their renewal fees are payable by you. Keeping your domain registration current is your responsibility.

8. Scoping and Fit

Scoping confirms what you are selling, who your customers are, how you reach them, whether you can fulfil the offer, and the status of your payment provider account.

If you buy directly from our website without speaking to us first, scoping is the first thing that happens after payment and before any delivery work begins. If scoping shows the service is not a fit for your business, we will tell you so in writing and refund you rather than deliver something that cannot work. Section 5.5 applies.

9. Access to Your Payment Provider Account

  • We integrate with your payment provider using an authorised developer API key or a restricted team role that you grant.
  • We never take custody of your money. Funds from your customers settle from your payment provider directly to your own bank account. They do not pass through us.
  • We will never ask you for a banking password, a payment provider password, a card number, or a one-time PIN. If you receive such a request claiming to be from us, do not act on it and contact us using the details in section 16.
  • Your customers see your branding and your domain at your checkout, not ours.
  • You may withdraw our access at any time. Doing so may prevent us from delivering the services in sections 5 and 6.

10. Your Responsibilities

  • Providing accurate business, service and pricing information, and keeping it current.
  • Fulfilling every offer you publish and payment you accept, and handling your own customer service, delivery, cancellations and refunds.
  • Complying with the laws that apply to your business, including consumer protection, data protection and tax law.
  • Keeping your account credentials secure, and keeping your domain registration and provider account in good standing.
  • Not using our services for spam, malware, fraudulent or illegal activity, or for selling anything you cannot lawfully sell. We may suspend or terminate a service for breach of this clause.

11. No Guarantee of Sales or Traffic

We build and maintain the platform you sell through. We do not generate demand, traffic or leads, and we do not guarantee any volume of sales, payments or revenue. Marketing is excluded from every service described in these Terms. A platform delivered as scoped has been delivered even if you make no sales through it.

12. Renewal, Cancellation and Termination

  • Professional Payments covers a twelve-month period from delivery. We will contact you before the anniversary to confirm renewal at the price then published. Where you do not renew, your platform and hosting are decommissioned at the end of the paid period. Fees already paid for the current period are not refundable on cancellation, except under section 5.5.
  • Managed Payment Solution renews automatically each month and may be cancelled on one calendar month's written notice, as set out in section 6.3.
  • We may suspend or terminate a service for non-payment or for breach of these Terms.
  • On termination we will, on request made within 30 days, provide you with a copy of your service and customer data. After 30 days the data may be deleted.

13. Data Privacy and Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, and we process personal information in line with South African data protection law. We collect and process personal information only to deliver the services described here. Where we process personal information belonging to your customers, we do so on your instruction and on your behalf; you remain responsible for the lawful basis on which you collected it.

14. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability arising out of or in connection with a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business, or for the acts, omissions, fees, downtime, settlement timing or approval decisions of third parties, including payment providers, domain registries, hosting vendors and banks. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms with reasonable notice. The version in force for a purchase is the version published at the time you paid. Continued use of a service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law and Contact

These Terms are governed by South African law, and any dispute will be resolved in the South African courts.

For questions about these Terms, or about anything in them, contact us at info@tisscorporation.co.za or on WhatsApp at 069 516 5954.
